Attendance Guidelines

Daily Action Required: Remember to Check In when you start work and Check Out when you are done for the day.
Working Hours: Standard working hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Sunday is closed.
Lateness: Checking in after 8:15 AM will flag your attendance as Late. Please try to be punctual.

When to Contact Your Line Manager

Your Line Manager is the person responsible for guiding your internship experience. They assign your tasks, monitor your progress, provide feedback, and are your first point of contact for any work-related questions.

You should reach out to your line manager when:

Task Clarification: If you need more details about an assigned task, its scope, deadline, or expected deliverables.
Blockers & Challenges: When you encounter obstacles that prevent you from completing your work, or you're stuck and need guidance.
Progress Updates: To share status updates on your tasks, especially for longer-term projects or multi-step assignments.
Attendance Issues: If you'll be absent, arriving late, or need to leave early — always notify your manager in advance.
Routine Collaboration: For daily check-ins, weekly reviews, brainstorming sessions, or any collaborative work related to your role.
Feedback & Growth: If you'd like constructive feedback on your work or advice on how to improve and grow in your role.
Workplace Concerns: For any concerns about the work environment, team dynamics, or if you need help navigating the organisation.

How to use the Intern Portal

Attendance check-in

Every workday, you are required to log your attendance. Simply navigate to the Attendance tab and click the "Check In" button when you begin your shift. At the end of your workday, click "Check Out". Note that checking in late will flag your attendance record, and you cannot check in on Sundays.

Profile Completion

Head over to My Profile and click on the "✏️ Edit Profile" button to ensure your information is up to date. You must provide your contact info, bank details, and guarantor information. Note that failing to complete your profile structure to at least 90% completeness will keep the persistent nudge banner at the top of your screen.

Certificates & Feedback

On the Certificates tab, you can easily upload prior certificates or request references such as an end-of-internship certificate. Additionally, navigate to the Feedback tab at any point to view direct and constructive feedback left by your assigned manager.
